Preparation for the stay abroad

If you have only limited knowledge of the language of the host country, inquire about foreign language course offerings. To prepare, you can, for example, take advantage of the extensive range of courses offered at the Language Teaching Center or the special Erasmus language course program "EILC". In addition, the Erasmus host universities themselves often offer language courses, either before the start of the semester or during the semester.
You must demonstrate the following language skills:
  • Language of instruction English: B1 (proof with faculty application).
  • language of instruction French or Spanish: B1 (by late 1 month before the start of the mobility), at least A2 with the application.
  • all other languages of instruction: A2 (no later than 30.4.)

    Abroad

  • Upon arrival at the host university, be sure to immediately have the Certificate of Arrival signed by the program officer there and upload it to the online portal.
  • Completion of a Revised Learning Agreement, if applicable

    • Follow-up of the stay abroad

  • Upload Certificate of Stay in the online portal
  • Upload Transcript of Records of the foreign university in the online portal
  • Upload online experience report in the online portal
  • Complete and submit the EU online survey (you will receive a link to do this at the end of your stay)
  • Complete and submit the online language test (you will receive a link to do this at the end of your stay)
  • Based on the foreign transcript of records, the recognition form is filled out together with Prof. Tilgner.
