When studying abroad academic recognition of credits earned abroad is crucial. Thus it is all important to get this clarified, if possible before taking off from Göttingen or upon of start of your studies at the partner university at the latest. To this end contact the study officer well in advance and discuss with him the study plan for your period of study abroad. Setting up a learning agreement is strongly recommended, in some cases (e. g. Erasmus+) it is mandatory.
