Claire Greenfield, MA EuCu

Claire was born and raised in London, England. She obtained her BA from the
University of Southampton in Contemporary European Studies and Modern
Languages (German and Spanish). During her studies she spent a year as a
youthworker in the east of Berlin.
After graduating from Southampton, she worked in London for three years in
the field of wealth management. During this time she completed her
Certificate in Financial Planning. Though she enjoyed the challenges of the
financial sector, she continued pursuing her interest in German through
taking a course in business German at the Goethe Institut, London and
attending many cultural events.
In 2009 she moved back to Germany in order to study for the MA in Euroculture
at the Georg-August-Universität, Goettingen. She spent the second semester at
the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, participated in the IP in Groningen
during the summer of 2010, and received an Erasmus Mundus grant for the
research track at IUPUI, Indianapolis, USA.
