What does it mean to have a joint degree from the University of Kassel in Witzenhausen and the University of Göttingen?

A joint degree is recognized by two accredited academic institutions for a particular course of study.

The SIA Master Programme is collaboration between the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences at the Georg-August-University of
Goettingen and the Faculty of Organic Agricultural Sciences at the University of Kassel-Witzenhausen, combining the
interdisciplinary research based teaching and learning, international orientation and applied teaching.

It means that students can take advantage and combine the academic resources and opportunities offered by both faculties
and their local and international partners.

Students get one certificate with the name of both institutions.
