When can I go home after the master thesis?

After you handed in the master thesis the professor has the right to correct your thesis for six weeks. To make the certificate and the transcript of records, it takes three weeks more.
Please note that the certificate can only be collected in person or by persons named in advance! It is not possible to just send some friend there to take it.

If you are foreign and want to work outside Germany, a legalisation might be needed. For information about the necessity of such a legalisation, please contact the embassy of the respective country.
