SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

Although the field of molecular biology offers a huge amount of different interesting topics, I am currently mainly interested in cell signaling, protein-protein interactions, and cellular pathways. In my opinion it is highly fascinating how small molecules are able to interact with each other to thereby enable the cell to exist depending on its environment, development state or function. By participating in this program I hope to gain further theoretical and practical experience, also in fields which are still new to me, such as immunology.
