Major Research Interests
How does the brain maintain stable memory and perception despite continuous internal and external change?
My research investigates this question through representational drift, the gradual reorganization of neural codes over time. I study how the representation of sensory stimuli evolves in the brain and how this dynamic is affected in diseased states such as Alzheimer’s disease. Using in vivo calcium imaging and computational approaches, I aim to characterize mechanisms underlying representational turnover over timescales and brain regions.
