SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

It all began with my work on antimicrobial peptides during my thesis, where I explored how their oligomerization affects molecular stability and activity. This led me to appreciate the essential relationship between structure and function, a fascination that continues to guide my academic focus. Since graduating, I have become more engaged with global challenges, and the rise of mRNA vaccines has captured my attention on both a scientific and humanitarian level. Now, I hope to bring these two interests together by applying my technical fascination with structural biology to the development of safer, more effective vaccines.
