SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

Through my previous projects, I serendipitously discovered my fascination with RNA, a seemingly simple molecule that can tune cellular processes ranging from immune responses to phase separation. I am equally intrigued by the ability of intrinsically disordered proteins to modulate their interactions with RNA and other proteins under varying cellular conditions. My research interests lie in exploring the diversity of RNA and understanding its role in the cell during stress or disease conditions, particularly in the context of biomolecular phase-separation. I believe that this would help us unlock its hidden potential and open new avenues in the field of RNA therapeutics.
