SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am fascinated by the complex mechanisms underlying life. My initial interests lie in metabolic pathways, molecular genetics, cell biology, and plant biology. More recently, I have also developed a strong interest in computational and systems biology. At Karolinska Institutet, I had the opportunity to merge physics with cell biology through advanced live-cell imaging using instruments like the LSM880. My subsequent research focused on integrating computational and statistical approaches to study yeast transcription factors. Looking ahead, I hope to broaden my knowledge across areas such as evolutionary and developmental biology, cancer biology, and plant biology, with the goal of contributing to a deeper scientific understanding of life processes.
