SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am especially interested in the causes and molecular mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's or Alzheimer's disease. Furthermore, I am intrigued by structural biology, particularly NMR spectroscopy, and I hope that I am given the opportunity to combine both these fields in my future scientific career. With my background in biochemistry I have a solid foundation on which I can build within the program and its diverse lectures across molecular biology, preparing me for PhD research.
