SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am particularly fascinated by the mechanisms that operate in the cell signaling pathways. It is amazing to see how cells orchestrate the complex interactions between chemically and functionally diverse signaling molecules to stimulate a response at the cellular level, which ultimately culminates into a much largely integrated response. A proper understanding of cell signaling pathways is crucial in identifying potential targets for drug development. Through this program, I aim to widen my understanding of life sciences.
