SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am interested in studing the process of cell differentiation with respect to the involved signalling pathways and epigenetic modifications. The role of different signalling pathways in stem cell differentiation is something that fascinates me as a single stem cell has the potential of forming different cell types depending on the type of signal available. Another aspect of cell differentiation which I want to work on is the epigenetic changes that take place during this process.
