SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

During my undergraduate years, I have been interested in the use of nanocarriers for the delivery of drugs to the central nervous system. I believe that understanding the molecular mechanisms involved in cellular internalization is important for the development of new therapeutic strategies. I am also fascinated by the investigation of pathological processes and the identification of new pharmacological targets. Through this program, I would like to learn about different research fields and gain experience in new molecular biology techniques that will help me in my scientific career.
