Her MSc project, under the guidance of Prof. Edwin Otten, was on metal-ligand cooperative activation of nitriles by a ruthenium complex with a de-aromatized PNN pincer ligand. In 2016, she worked in the group of Prof. A. Brückner at the Leibniz-Institut für Katalyse on reaction monitoring in oxidation chemistry using simultaneously coupled operando EPR/UV-Vis/ATR-IR spectroscopy. She started her PhD studies in the Browne group at the same University in 2018, focusing on cobalt-free curing of vinylester-styrene coatings, funded by the Advanced Research Center - Chemical Building Blocks Consortium.
