SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I have a strong interest in human diseases, especially cancer. For instance, I am curious about how tumor cells interact with the microenvironment, and how tumor cells are endowed with features like anti-apoptosis, infinite proliferation as well as the ability to invade. Thus, my goal is to understand what happens at the molecular level in oncogenesis and metastasis, and try to figure out a way to cure this disease eventually.
