Applicants who have the confirmation of one of the CaSuS research group leaders to supervise their doctoral thesis are requested to send their application documents to the following address:

Application deadline is

• 31^st July 2015 for October 2015

Documents handed in after this date or incomplete applications cannot be considered. All documents remain at the university.



Application documents include:



• Signed application
• Transcripts of university degrees (certified copies, for any transcript which is not in English or German a certified translation is necessary); the transcript of the master degree can be handed in before the date of the interview if the application documents include a preliminary certificate of the master degree
• Proof of proficiency in English (see Admission requirements)
• Research proposal (max. two pages), including research subject and envisioned projects
• Copy of publications (not more than three)
• Certificates for work placements or teaching experience demonstrating the qualification for this doctoral programme
• Curriculum vitae in English
• Declaration, whether the applicant has already started a doctoral process and whether this has been successfully completed or not
• Letter of acceptance from Ph.D. supervisor




Interview

Interviews for the next winter semester will take place between 1^st and 30^th September 2015 and will be guided by one of the CaSuS supervisors.
