Brochure: The University of Göttingen

Find out more about the University's goals and developments in research and teaching in the brochure titled “The University of Göttingen”. Therein you discover facts and figures on the Göttingen Campus, through which the University of Göttingen intensively and successfully cooperates with the University Medical Centre Göttingen (UMG) and eight non-university research institutes in the areas of research and teaching.
The brochure will also fill you in on Lichtenberg-Kolleg – The Göttingen Institute for Advanced Study, where outstanding guest scientists from the humanities and social sciences have the freedom to research beyond a university's day-to-day obligations. Learn all about the seven Courant Research Centres that the University has set up as part of the first phase of its Excellence Initiative. They embody innovative new topics that have been determined through an externally supported selection process.
The diverse number of international projects the University is collaborating on, its internationalisation strategy, the International Department, which supports said strategy, and the liaison offices in China and India are all topics that you can read up on in the brochure. It also provides information on studying in Göttingen, as well as on the city’s museums, collections and gardens, Göttingen Alumni, business contacts, knowledge transfer, spin-offs and much, much more.
