Research Focus

The professorship mainly focuses on research regarding general public international law, taking special interest in the doctrine of sources of law (hybridization), analyzing the relation of legal systems to one another. This includes examining the interplay between national and international courts as well as examining legal systems in the light of the United Nations and intellectual property rights, while maintaining a reference to public international law and European law.
