Susan Irvine Receives Anneliese Maier Research Award, September 2015

Following her nomination by Professor Rudolf, Professor Susan Irvine of University College London has been awarded the Humboldt Foundation's Anneliese Maier Research Award for her outstanding research profile. The award entails EUR 250.000 in prize money, to be spent on collaboration in research and teaching with the Section of Medieval English Studies in Göttingen during the period 2015–2018. For Göttingen, this will result in a research project on the anonymous Old English homilies as well as a programme facilitating the mobility of graduate students between Göttingen and UCL.
