Dr. Yilly Vanessa Pacheco, LL.M.
Dr. Yilly Pacheco is a Senior Research Fellow at the Department for International Economic and Environmental Law of the Institute of International Law and European Law at the Georg-August University of Göttingen, Germany. She was awarded a postdoctoral position in the Dorothea Schlözer Postdoctoral Program at the University of Göttingen. She holds a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Göttingen, and an LL.B. and an LL.M from Universidad Santiago de Cali, Colombia. Since 2021, she has worked as a coordinator, researcher, and lecturer at the University of Göttingen for the Erasmus+ project “European Citizen´s Initiative: A tool for engagement and active citizenship | ECI from A to Z” with the universities of Coimbra (Portugal), Vigo (Spain), and Iasi (Romania). In 2022, she was named European Citizens’ Initiative Ambassador. Yilly has experience as a lecturer and researcher in Germany and Colombia and has published several papers and book chapters on multilevel environmental governance, climate change regime, labor law, international forest law, and Trade and Sustainable Development Chapters in US and EU Preferential Trade Agreements.
