SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

Gene expression is regulated in many stages by different molecules and I find this diversity of mechanisms one of the most interesting topics in biology. Due to its interesting properties and still somewhat obscure set of functions, I am particularly interested in the roles of both coding and non-coding RNAs in gene regulation. In the future, I would like to explore non-coding RNA-mediated control of gene expression.
