SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

My main research interest lies in the understanding of the mechanisms involved in neuronal plasticity and vice versa the factors leading to neurodegeneration. As a biochemist, I aim to decipher the functions of the individual components in this highly complex system. I look forward to explore multiple research areas during my masters, providing me with the knowledge to approach this in a more complete fashion.
