2019: Summer internship focusing on the neurovascular interactions in the zebrafish model at the Acker-Palmer Group, Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main, Germany

SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

Regarding my enthusiasm for the philosophy of the human mind, I decided to devote myself to understanding the human mind at the molecular and cellular levels. I am particularly astonished by the organization and complexity of elaborate neural circuits in the brain that underlie the perception and processing of sensory information. Therefore, I would like to elucidate neural mechanisms of how sensory input from diverse modalities is integrated and associated within the higher-order areas of the brain.
