SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

As a physician I am interested in evidence-based medicine. I participated in research projects using epidemiological, evidence synthesis and meta-analytic methods in the fields of neurology and psychiatry. By pursuing this program, I would like to obtain a deeper understanding on the molecular and electrical properties of brain plasticity involved in the pathogenesis of neurodevelopmental and neuropsychiatric conditions. I aspire to be a physician-scientist in the field of clinical neurosciences, working in translation from laboratory findings to clinical practice applying evidence-synthesis methods to enhance the process.
