SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

My scientific interests are focused on the molecular basis of neurodegenerative diseases for the improvement of treatment or/and diagnostics of brain disorders. I intend to contribute to this field by focusing my work in interactions that are common in many brain disorders (as neuroinflammation, genetics, neuroimmunology). By joining the program, I hope to continue to expand my knowledge in this field to better understand the mechanisms underlying disease.
