SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

Having come from a background in both biology and engineering, human brain appears to me as an engineering marvel of its own. Everything from the working of molecules to circuits to the systems that contribute to the myriad of social behavior fascinates me. Consequently, I am very much open to learn and explore various areas of neuroscience. Specifically, I am interested in the very act of thinking and understanding how our brain and that of fellow organisms has been shaped through the cognitive evolution. I believe that exploring the fields of Systems and Behavioral Neuroscience will help in pursuing my interests in the field of social cognition.
