SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am interested in the interplay between environmental factors, which includes our own perception of the world and social, physical and emotional experiences with molecular and genetic factors over the human behavior. In particular, I am interested in behavioral disorders and neuropsychiatric diseases and their impact on brain epigenetics and synaptic plasticity affecting learning and cognitive processes.
