SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

My research interests cover the complex brain mechanisms, underlying sensory perception and multisensory integration. I am also curious about the role of an organism's previous experience, emotional state and motivation in the modulation of perception and how it impacts the process of plasticity and learning. In the future, I would like to work on related questions utilising various approaches and model objects on different levels of complexity.
