SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

My major goal is to understand the concrete prerequisites for conscious experience on a systems neuroscience level. I am therefore very much interested in electrophysiological recordings, neuroimaging, the visual system and all theories attempting to explain the emergence of consciousness from a physical system (e.g. IIT).
