SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am fascinated by the interrelationship between the immune system and the processes of neurodegeneration that collectively play an important role in neurological diseases. I would like to explore the underlying molecular and genetic mechanisms that modulate these conditions and explore disease outcomes through preclinical and clinical studies. I want to contribute towards the development of better therapeutic interventions through research in translational neuroscience.
