SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am interested in the molecular basis of neurological diseases and disorders (e.g. glioblastoma, Alzheimer’s disease, multiple sclerosis), which might range from faulty/mutated genetic codes to sporadic etiologies. Aside from clinical and molecular neuroscience, I would also like to further my understanding and, hopefully, carry out research on cognitive neuroscience, which includes studies of consciousness and memory, alongside how they might be affected in different neurological pathologies.
