SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

Within the broad field of neuroscience, I am especially interested in the investigation of neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric diseases. Additionally, I think that neuro-immunology and the role of glial cells in general are exciting topics. I want to make a contribution to science because of my own curiosity as well as the wish to improve life quality of sick/disabled people.
