SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

During my last semester as an undergraduate I got in touch with computational biology, using software like MOE and Schrodinger in order to analyze protein features such as ligand binding and how the structural features of a protein can be used to develop a drug. In my project, I learnt how to use big molecular databases in order to find a new potential ligand against CTBP. In the Molecular Biology Program, I hope to continue on the path of proteomics and learn how protein structure is determined using X-Ray, NMR or cryo-EM.
