SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

My main interest is to continue my career within an institution at the interface of research and industry, as I am passionate about the union of knowledge and useful application, such as in the current cutting-edge medical detection and treatment methods available for cancer, autoimmune diseases, and various genetic disorders. I believe that scientific research has an immense potential to bring about solutions to most of the diseases plaguing human kind, with personalized medicine at the forefront. Therefore, my career is aimed towards this area in the future, by applying basic research for the benefit of the patient.
