SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am interested in building and/or testing neuronal models which explain higher cognitive functions such as attention, quantity cognition, and consciousness. My short-term goal is to become skillful in the use of Neuroimaging and Neuromodulatory techniques. My long-term goal is to understand how some higher cognitive functions and their corresponding impairment work in order to produce effective forms of intervention.
