Guest Lecture

As part of the master's module "Business Valuation", practical valuation cases will be presented. On June 17 and 24, Dr. Michael Borgmann from PricewaterhouseCoopers GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft will work with students on valuing a company with a focus on forecasting cash flows. Following this, Mr. Kehrbach from Deloitte GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft will cover a company valuation with a focus on capital costs on July 1 and 8. The events will take place on Tuesdays from 10:15 to 11:45 a.m. in lecture hall ZHG 006. All interested master's students are warmly invited to attend.

Learning outcomes

After successfully completing this course, the students are familiar with the valuation of business entities depending on purpose and reason. The students should obtain knowledge of capital market-oriented Business Valuation and basics in capital market theory. The students should be able to design and perform a business valuation with and without personal taxes.
