SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

Systems Neuroscience, Dynamical systems in neuroscience (associations between behavior/subjective experience and neural circuits' dynamics). During my research path, I want to contribute to the understanding of how the nonlinear dynamics of brain activity and subjective experience are related. I also want to understand what underlies higher cognitive functions and whether the terms that now exist to describe them are relevant.
