SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

My interests are understanding postnatal cortical myelin development and mechanisms leading to its degradation. Specifically, I would like to investigate how adverse prenatal experiences affect myelin development and lead to an increased risk of developing a disorder.
