SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

The involvement of various RNA-protein interactions and the altered miRNA expression patterns observed in a number of diseases is something that captures my attention. Exploring markers for an early diagnosis, and looking at RNA therapeutics as an alternate road to the management and treatment of these diseases would be my goal. However, through the Master's program in Göttingen I wish to explore new areas, keep an open mind to this diverse field and focus my research interests.
