SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am interested in a wide array of research topics including gene expression and its regulation, nucleocytoplasmic transport of RNA, RNA quality-control as well as RNA-interference and protein-turnover. I would like to find a balance of fundamental research and practical application of the gained knowledge. I hope the wide array of topics and techniques that are covered in this Master’s-course will help me to further refine my knowledge and get to know new aspects of molecular biology.
