SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

Broadly, I am interested in molecular biology, immunology and physiology. One of the hallmarks of a microbial disease is the drug resistance developed by the causative organism. I am keen to know more about the molecular mechanisms used by microorganisms to display multiple drug resistance, and learn techniques to understand them, thereby helping in increasing the efficacy of drugs.
