SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

My interests lie in the study of the metabolic processes of plants and the physiological consequences of said metabolic processes. My goals for taking part in this program are to be able to more explicitly define my interests (e.g. the effects of metabolic byproducts on plant growth, consequences of metabolic rate changes on botanic immunology, etc.) and to gain greater insight in the field of molecular biology in general. With the experience from this program, I hope to evolve as a researcher and to be a part of an extensive network of researchers who may be both friend and peer.
