SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

Since my scientific interests are not set in stone, I especially like the unique structure of the program which allows students to experience diversity of research at the participating institutions together with the lectures given by scientists having expertise in different fields. Altogether, this gives a solid foundation for Ph.D. research. At this point, cell signaling, apoptosis, chromatin regulation, transcription factor activity, and membrane trafficking are particularly drawing my attention.
