SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I have always been fascinated by how the nervous system functions. I wish to be able to combine tools in neuroscience research to explore physical basis of consciousness as well as our abilities to interact with the surrounding environment. Understanding the molecular mechanisms of such activities would also help us relief sufferings of patients and their families when things go wrong.
