SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am interested in participating in the investigation of the causes leading to the failure of function occurring in age-related and neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, and Epilepsy on the cellular and molecular level. As this will in turn result in a better understanding of the mechanisms underlying these diseases, it will lead to novel therapeutic strategies.
