SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

My main interest is sensory ecology and understanding how animals sense their environment, using electrophysiological techniques. My long term goal is to use these techniques to study sensory mechanisms in disease vectors and understand how they sense their environment to find strategies of control.
