SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

Everything that is seen, everything that is heard, everything that is tasted, everything that is felt, everything that is learned, every joy, every sorrow, every pursuit, everything that we conceive as our reality is due to our brain. Therefore, my interests are quite broad, but I would like to be able to contribute to a better understanding of cognition, sensory systems, and behavior on the basis of comparative studies. I am fascinated by the remaining 'mysteries' of nervous system functions and it is my goal to help addressing and solving them.
