SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am interested in neurochemistry and neuropharmacology because I want to know how substances like neurotransmitters and drugs affect the nervous system and therefore the whole body. By understanding these basic physiological relations, I hope to find possibilities for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.
