SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

My scientific research interests lie in understanding neural communication and the molecular mechanisms that are related to complex behaviours and consciousness. More specifically novel molecular and neural drug targets that are related to complex behaviours and consicousness. To enter this arena of research, both neuropsychology and neuropharmacology are principle components. Therefore, my goals are related to improve my understanding of neuropscyhological disease mechanisms with the aim to improve their prognosis with novel drug treatments.
